Question by Christy K: Need some help finding a good preschool homeschooling curriculum?
I am a stay-at-home mom with a 3 year old son. I have been able to teach him everything he needs to know so far but I want to take it to the next level. I have been interviewing preschools but all of the ones I would feel safe leaving him at are a little bit out of my price range(like $ 600 a month) plus there is a one year waiting list to get in.
So I have decided that I want to preschool him at home. I have already ordered a few books (haven?t got them yet). I ordered the Kumon Books Series(Let?s Color, Sticker&Paste, Fold, and Cut). I have also been looking at The Learning Box and Mother Goose Time. I like the convenience of both of those of having everything planned out for the day in separate folders. Also, the supplies are already included for each project.I have done alot of research but I am sure there are things I am missing. I am willing to check anything out just please nothing too religious. We are a spiritual family but not very religious.
I would LOVE to know if anybody has used The Learning Box or Mother Goose Time and what your thoughts are. Also, would like to know if there is anything else out there similar to these that I have not looked at yet. Thanks in advance for any help!!

Honestly, I created my own curriculum for my son at that age and he has surpassed expectations, he is 4 1/2 and is doing kindergarten work now. i just went to the dollar store and picked up some of the educational workbooks (I make copies of all of my books, I don?t write in them). And we work on those (I started with what I knew he could do and went from there) and then I also went online and just typed in preschool homeschool curriculum or preschool math ect and found everything that we needed that way. I hope this helps at least a little bit. I also have found sites that tell you what they should know at each age level and things, type in what a preschooler needs to know or something along those line use different variations to get different sites.
